Brady Brassart put Calgary (28-8-5) ahead for good at 17:01 of the period. Tomas Andrlik got the Raiders (21-18-2) on the board first with his first goal of the season at 2:57 of the opening period. Greg Chase tied it for the Hitmen with his 25th goal of the season, and Calder Brooks put the Raiders back in front before the period was out. Zane Jones rounded out the scoring for Calgary 41 seconds into the third period. Chris Driedger made 24 saves for the Hitmen, while Cole Cheveldave handled 22 shots for the Raiders. Calgary was 0 for 3 on the power play, and Prince Albert was 0 for 4. --- WHEAT KINGS 5 REBELS 2 BRANDON, Man. -- Chad Robinson snapped a 2-2 tie at 4:30 of the third period to lead the Wheat Kings past Red Deer. Quintin Lisoway scored in the first period, and Richard Nejezchleb made it 2-0 Brandon in the second, before the Rebels tied it in the period with goals from Evan Polei and Grayson Pawlenchuk just over two minutes apart. Tyler Coulter and Colton Waltz rounded out the scoring for the Wheat Kings (22-16-4). Jordan Papirny made 29 saves for Brandon, while Patrik Bartosak stopped 35 shots for Red Deer (20-19-2). --- TIGERS 2 BLADES 1 MEDICINE HAT, Alta. -- Chad Butcher scored the winner at 15:33 of the third period to give the Tigers their win over Saskatoon. The goal was just Butchers second of the season. Troy Trombley kept the game close for the Blades (12-28-4), making 36 saves, while his Medicine Hat (24-14-3) counterpart Daniel Wapple handled 18 shots.
